Promotions Policy

This Promotions Policy (“Policy”) includes information about methods that Thkee Experts can use to promote their content, including Expert coupons, course referral links, and Thkee’s optional marketing programs. This Policy is incorporated by reference into our Terms of Use and Expert Terms. Any term defined in this Policy carries that meaning wherever it appears. Terms not defined here have the meaning given in the Terms of Use or the Expert Terms.
This Policy is issued in Arabic and English. In the event of any conflict or difference in interpretation between the two versions, the Arabic version prevails.
1. How the Promotional Programs Work
Thkee offers Experts who have completed the account verification steps Thkee requires the opportunity to participate in Promotional Programs. You can opt in through the Promotional Agreements page of your Expert settings, or by a written agreement (including by email) between you and Thkee for certain programs, as detailed below. Participation is optional, and your content is not included in any Promotional Program before you opt in. The specific programs offered may change from time to time.
Not all deals or programs will be available in all geographic territories or for all Thkee content. Thkee determines which content to offer as part of the Promotional Programs and sets or updates the sale prices applied within them. Thkee may remove your content from the Promotional Programs where the content or your account no longer meets the requirements of the program or of our Terms, where the laws in force in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia so require, or where the program itself is modified or discontinued. We will notify you of the removal wherever it is reasonably practicable to do so. Removal from the Promotional Programs does not by itself remove your content from the Services, and does not affect amounts already due to you for sales completed before the removal.
The discount amounts referenced below are approximate, as the actual discount may be slightly higher due to rounding and currency conversion. Thkee does not guarantee any minimum level of success in connection with the Promotional Programs.
2. Thkee Deals Program
The Thkee Deals Program helps increase your revenue potential by enabling Thkee to offer your content at a compelling discount as part of targeted promotions, as well as to optimize your list price. The Deals Program allows Thkee to offer your content to students at a discounted price or list price no lower than 75 SAR (or local equivalent), except in sales to Thkee’s resellers or distributors, where the price may be lower. For clarity, Thkee determines local equivalents of 75 SAR using economic factors such as purchasing power, rather than employing a direct currency conversion. A table of minimum sales prices after discount in each of Thkee’s major markets can be found in our Help Center article on pricing tiers. We reserve the right to update this table and change base price tier options from time to time.
Where a sale to a Thkee reseller or distributor results in a sale price for your content that is lower than permitted by this Policy, Thkee will calculate your revenue share based on a Gross Amount permitted by this Policy.
Deals Program deals may be promoted through the Services, user communications, or third-party platforms, and the duration of the deals may vary.
You can opt out of the Deals Program at any time. However, your content will remain subject to any applicable sales, campaigns, or promotions that are already active at the time you opt out, until those sales, campaigns, or promotions are completed.
3. Modifications
We may update this Policy from time to time to clarify our practices or to reflect new or different practices. A change that does not materially affect your rights or obligations, such as a clarification of an existing practice, becomes effective on the day it is posted. Before a material change becomes effective, we will notify you by email sent to the email address specified in your account, or by another prominent means through our Services, and the notice will state the date on which the change becomes effective. A material change applies to you only from that date. If you do not accept a material change, you may opt out of the Promotional Programs before it becomes effective, at no cost and without penalty, subject to the sales, campaigns and promotions already active at that time as described in section 2 above.
